Chip Bubl

Chip Bubl was born in Corvallis and has lived most of his life in Oregon. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Oregon State University. Since 1978, he has worked for Oregon State University in the Columbia County Extension office in St. Helens. His assignment covers education for commercial farms, small farms, natural resource managers, and gardeners. He has served as the local office administrative leader for most of that time. He is married and his wife, Nancy Bubl, had been an elementary school teacher in the St. Helens School District for 33 years when she retired. Their two children attended the Columbia City School and then, when the family moved to Warren, completed their schooling in the Scappoose School District. Chip has served on a number of Boards including the Community Action Team, Friends of the St. Helens Library, St. Helens Kiwanis, and the Lower Columbia River Watershed Council.
