Scappoose Bay Marine Park

  • Marina Construction Traffic Control Plan
We’re excited to announce that starting Monday, September 16, we will begin Phase 1 of the Marina Improvement Project – Upland Work. This project will bring several upgrades to Scappoose Bay Marina aimed at improving accessibility and enhancing your experience.  What’s Included in the Improvement Project:

Scappoose Bay Marine Park is a recreational area owned and operated by the Port of Columbia County. The marina offers a public boat launch with access to the Columbia River and a separate dock for launching kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddle boards adjacent to miles of flat water estuaries secluded from boat traffic.

Scappoose Bay is a body of water of the Multnomah Channel and influenced by the Lower Columbia River. The intricate network of sheltered creeks, tributaries and channels are protected waterways rich in wildlife that make it a perfect destination for paddling adventures. Located one mile upstream of the Columbia River where it enters the Multnomah Channel, Scappoose Bay also offers easy access to great fishing and power boat activity. The Columbia River is the place to find returning Chinook and coho salmon as well as deep-swimming sturgeon.

If you love fishing, boating, kayaking or just enjoying the outdoors, you’ll have a great time at Scappoose Bay!
