Scappoose Airpark Water/Sewer Project

For the past few years, one of the Port’s goals for the Scappoose Industrial Airpark has been to bring sanitary sewer service to the west side of the airport, and to complete the water line “loop” that serves the area. The airport presently relies on septic systems for all of its buildings. 

The lines’ alignment will be along the western boundary of the airport and Skyway Drive. This project will allow us to better serve our existing tenants and provide capability for the future. Working with the City of Scappoose and other agencies, we’ve nearly completed a long process of design, engineering, and review, and are poised now to take this project to bid with the assistance of our airport engineering firm, WHPacific. Our target is construction in Winter/Spring 2019.
